Security forces deserve our support - PM

The Prime Minister has stressed that the government does not condone the use of excessive force however he said members of the security forces deserve our support in their efforts to maintain law and order.
Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said we are all outraged that the hardened criminals broke out of Naboro Prison, terrorizing the community and the law enforcement agencies are doing all they can to investigate the circumstances.
Two prisoners who escaped from the Naboro Medium facility two weeks ago are expected to appear in the Suva magistrate court today.
Chief Operations Officer, Rusiate Tudravu confirmed that in addition to Isoa Waqa, they now have another escapee in custody with him while the other three are still under medical observation.
Tudravu said the other three escapees are expected to be placed in custody soon.
