Reaction in Fiji to the partial relaxation of sanctions on the coup-installed military government has been mixed.
Shamima Ali, a former Fiji Human Rights Commissioner says the interim government needs to improve the human rights situation in the country, while Attar Singh, general secretary of the Fiji Islands Confederation of Trade Unions, says Australia and New Zealand have acted prematurely.
