Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says there has been a major decline in the caliber of politicians in the country after 2000.
He made the comments while opening the 2012 CPA Australia-Fiji Branch Congress in Nadi this morning.
Bainimarama says parliamentarians, back-benchers and Ministers must be drawn from all sectors of society.
And this includes the business community or business-world: the professionals who understand many of the complex issues facing our nation today.
The PM adds the fact is that professionals bring to the table skill sets that a Government would need.
