EIGHT Indian engineers are assisting FSC workers in conducting repairs to the Rarawai sugar mill in Ba in preparation for the start-of-crush in early June.
This was confirmed to canegrowers at Tagitagi near Tavua during industry consultations held yesterday.
FSC field services manager Nemani Veikoso said repairs and preparations for the start-of-crush in the first week of June were progressing according to schedule. "In terms of repairs, we have completed 40 per cent of the work required and will have the mill ready on time," he said.
