Flurrying and Scurrying in the Diplomatic Corners

Yo, yo, yo people!!!!

What's with all the hustle and bustle at the SCC Office?? Have some "orders" been handed down by the junta to remove the road barriers at Gladstone Rd and Loftus St in response to Driti's idiotic, uncouth and deflective sentiments yesterday aimed at the governments of Australia, USA and UK???

NOT a good move folks!

This is just getting started it seems and GOOD ONE Frank -- you've essentially shut Fiji's door to the EU with your equally idiotic words yesterday.

Oh and not to mention rattled the constitutionally recognised body of the GCC and technically put the Pres. "on notice" -- or did you forget that he is the representative of the GCC??

Sorry but I got to say it man! Frank and Junta are CLUELESS and it shows.

What's wrong with quiet diplomacy? A courteous request through the Foreign Affairs Office would have been the way to go. This is so un-Fijian.

Now they are beginning to see the things that everyone else with even half a brain had warned them about pre-Dec-5th. The GCC rejection was a nail in the coffin of one of their two main REAL aims of the coup, namely to establish the NAPF as THE major Fijian political party by 2010 (the other one was to pre-empt murder charges against Frank). The GCC rejection shows that the majority of the Fijian people have seen through the "Clean Up" deflection lies and have even identified the main culprits of this contrived coup. Bye-bye NAPF! I'd like to say it was fun - but it wasn't.
The forthcoming diplomatic consequences of Thursday's cluelessness will merely increase the national pain factor to break-through the political blindfolds of those who haven't woken up yet to what is going down. Moce Jo!

I can't believe you lot. Naive or what? What do you think those two High Commissioners and one ambassador were doing at the army camp while Frank was in NZ? Do you think they were there for a bowl of grog? No no no. Those that talk the most about the rule of law were fine about breaking it themselves, when it suited. Note no one from the RFMF had broken the law at this stage but they still took it on themselves to try and get the army to mutiny hiding behind behind the cloak of diplomatic imunity. Chuck em all out I say.

When Frank and the IG remove the barricade then we will see the fun. How will the US Govt purports this? Is it territorial penetration? Is it a show of muscle? Or just a lunartic junta? Guys you will see the fun! Just watch it!

Frank is absolutely right. We do not need the barricade. It is our road. We should be allowed to use it. Who is US to tell us what to do? US should first clean its own backyard. Thousands of innocent citizens killed in Iraq; women and children. By the way US supported the coup in Venezuela in 2002, US supported the coup in Pakistan. Down with foreign diplomats.
