Fiji Sun: Leave RFMF Alone, Tikoitoga Insists

March 13, 2014

The political parties must, during their political campaign, leave the Republic of Fiji Miliatry Force alone. RFMF Commander Brigadier-General Mosese Tikoitoga reiterated that the RFMF was apolitical. ‘
‘They should be rest assured that under my command the RFMF would obey, defend and protect the constitution,’’ he said.
He had already made this clear to journalists this week. He was appointed to lead the RFMF in place of Commodore (Ret.) Voreqe Bainimarama who stood down to contest in the national elections.
“We will of course, also continue to defend and protect our nation, assist its people and contribute to a better world through our peacekeeping efforts with the United Nations.”
The RFMF plans not to be involved in preparations for the elections.

Sergeant Thicko is 'apolitical'? Golly gosh I wonder if he actually knows what this word means !

BUT anyway if as he says they only exist in this world (apart from polishing their boots, gold braid and medallions), to defend the constitution, you can bet your bottom dollar that IF .....

..... IF such time as a REAL election is held and the IMPOSED Kaiyum constitution gets thrown out (which it will do under a new party) , then whats the bet that Sergeant Thickso and his barking dogs will come running out of the barrack gates to start the COUP-FUSION all over again ?
