ANZ on the offensive against customers

Well. If that's the the game they want to play -- then show them what's what folks.

Despite ANZ's statements of being "apolitical" and caring of Fiji and the Pacific, they  do care about how they are perceived and their bottom-line.

Take your business to a bank that cares about you.
Fiji Banks attacks CCF report
Thursday, May 05, 2011

The Association of Banks in Fiji say they have been treated unfairly by the Consumer Council of Fiji in their report on ‘Banking Services in Fiji: From a Consumers Perspective.’

Speaking at a joint press conference yesterday attended by the ANZ, Westpac and BSP banks - Association chairman and ANZ CEO Norman Wilson attacked the authenticity of the report.

“The findings are based on one report written by a former RBF board member who has not presented anything remotely resembling a fair portrayal of the industry, who does not even take into account feedback from stakeholders and who refuses to publish his source data or even release it to those entities he criticises.”

Wilson says the banks detailed response to the report will be published tomorrow on their website www.abif.com.fj
