Registration of individuals for the 2014 elections continues across the country.

So far – 130,507 people have been registered.

Yesterday alone – 15,124 people were registered in various centres.

Over 4,000 were registered in the Central division, 7,060 in the West, 2,871 in the North and 1,091 in the Eastern division.

Meanwhile – persons with disabilities are urged to be at the Fiji National Council for Disabled Complex in Suva tomorrow and Friday to register.

Executive Director of FNCDP Dr Sitiveni Yanuyanutawa says this is an opportunity for persons with disabilities within the voting age to come forward and register for the elections.

He is also encouraging others who cannot make it to the venue to go to their nearest registration centre and register.
