Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says he will resign as army commander to contest the 2014 elections.
On a talk back show on Radio Fiji Two yesterday, Bainimarama shared his vision of a Fiji where every Fijian is treated equally.
“Its true I have to resign from being commander of military forces if I want to stand for elections, but the people of Fiji shouldn’t worry about the lack of vision that would be with the military. In the military, all the senior officers and all ranks help share the same vision and I have with regards to the people of Fiji and the future in Fiji we’re all together in this and of course everyone’s found out the good .it has done for the country in the last six years.”
You can watch the full interview with the Prime Minister on FBC TV at 10.30 tonight and a replay at 11am on Thursday.
