Robin Ali has come back from retirement to become the new Nadi Special Administrator following the termination of Aisea Tuidraki last month.
Ali served in the Nadi Town Council for 36 years , 19 as Chief Executive of the municipality.
He says he would like to continue the push for Nadi to become a city something that he had worked tirelessly for in 1999.
“Nadi people are very unique people they are very strong that is the biggest strength of Nadi. Ever since I joined the council I have been facing floods, cyclones almost every year but the people are so good so hardworking it just takes them a few months to be on their foot and they are moving.”
Ali retired as CEO of Nadi Town Council in 2010 and was appointed as the new Special Administrator last week.
Ali says he would like to see Nadi grow and for ratepayers to get better services.
