Information Technology company Daltron says it is going through exciting growth and has been well-received in the Fijian market.

In light of this, Daltron is moving its local headquarters to a new building on Queens Road, Walu Bay, next to building owner Dewan Chand’s Quality Print.

It is yet another indicator of the regional growth of Daltron, a Papua New Guinea-headquartered member of the WR Carpenter Group. This ultimately is part of the Kuala Lumpur-listed MBF group.

Daltron is shifting from Ellery Street, behind MHCC in downtown Suva.

Daltron country manager, Avinesh Krishna, said they will be moving to ‘this fantastic’ location to be seen as a corporate company.

“The building is centrally-located, is modern-built, has nice parking for customers and we want our customers to have a great experience doing business with Daltron family,” he said.

“The location will also have the service centre and our warehouse for improved customer service and after sales delivery.”

The official launch for the headquarters is planned by month-end after which they will become operational from there.

Exciting plans
Mr Krishna said Daltron has some exciting plans but they do not want to reveal it as yet.

“However, we plan to always respond to the market needs,” he said.

“This is to ensure as an IT company, we take lead role in ensuring we solve the challenges of the country, our people and organisation with a range of technology products and services.

“We continue to always formulate strategies how we improve every day in every way using technology to solve challenges businesses and the people face by sourcing new solutions.”

Mr Krishna said they are heavily investing but he cannot disclose the figures.

“We will continue to invest as we see lots of opportunity in the market and we want to fill gap and be the first choice when it comes to technology,” he said.

“We see Fiji as the IT hub for all Pacific Island and we have skilled people here who need guidance and support.”

Daltron’s business
Earlier this month, Daltron opened its new retail outlet in Main Street, Nadi Town.

Mr Krishna said Daltron has been having a good growth and thanked customers for the great support and accepting Daltron as a brand name in the market.

“This has made Daltron to become the only IT company in Fiji to be located in all major districts to ensure the people of Fiji have access to latest IT products and services,” he said.

“Daltron hires, develops and retains the employees we believe will make our business continue to thrive, offering supportive, motivating workplaces where everyone can flourish.”
